Account Director - Enterprise Software

Due to some significant recent client wins we are looking for an experienced Account Director.

Your Impact
As a member of our client service team, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with some of the world's most innovative companies. You will deliver and support on several projects in parallel, as well as deal with multiple clients. You will find ways to drive revenue and adoption of the marketplace model with the world’s largest companies and continue building momentum for further expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess an enterprise software background that enables them to get up to speed quickly. You will be someone who is comfortable executing against a strategic plan and consistently over delivering on quota targets.

Additionally, you will:

  • Act as a technical liaison between clients and product teams to help evolve the MET platform.
  • Devise strategies for improving delivery workshops based on tangible feedback from clients.
  • Target new customers in line with the company’s strategy in order to meet quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with a clear focus on making these customers successful in their adoption and utilisation of the MET platform.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within our clients' organisations and be identified as a key strategic advisor.
  • Establish commercial action plans that will allow your clients to scale up.
  • Establish solid relationships with key players at the highest levels of an organisation, particularly within the VP, EVP, and C-suit.
  • Contribute to developing MET’s network and public visibility to expand its reach in the marketplace.
  • Effectively manage prospect/client expectations.
  • Assist in bringing in net new deals and farm relationships with existing accounts through cross-sell etc.
  • Kick-off new engagements by understanding the customer strategy, highlighting challenges and aligning core MET Marketplace capabilities in order to establish the best solution and strategy.
  • Work with different internal teams such as the Product team to provide valuable feedback and bring ideas to constantly evolve our product. The sales teams to confirm the scope of the project, as well as support teams to help transfer knowledge gained during the project phase.
  • Serve as the functional expert able to understand and speak to current web technologies such as Restful API’s, and popular web frameworks used by our customers.
  • Conduct training sessions on MET’s products via webinars or in-person to ensure end-user ease of use across all audiences.

Requirements

Customer Success Executive

A Customer Success Manager is responsible for developing customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. Their job is to work closely with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the services they receive and to improve upon areas of dissatisfaction. Customer Success Managers are responsible for creating policies and procedures that optimise the customer experience. They may gather feedback from our customers, study other customer success programs and analyse customer data to identify the best practices. They will establish policies the entire staff can adhere to so all customers receive the same quality of service.

Business Development Executive

The business development executive is responsible for bringing in new business for the company through a variety of sales techniques:

  • 5+ years experience in software enterprise or SAAS.
  • Demonstrable record of managing complex sales processes.
  • Ability to successfully pitch a disruptive technology with Fortune 500 clients.
  • A deep understanding of E-commerce or digital projects is key.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem solving and presentation skills.

UX Designer

We are looking for a UX designer to join our team, whether you’re a graduate, seasoned designer or self-taught, experience is not a factor we focus on quality of work and output. However, we are looking for a team player who can contribute in a agile and collaborative environment.

UI Designer

We are looking for a talented UI designer who is seeking a creative challenge. As our UI designer you will manage and develop our ever growing brands Mercarto and MET. We require our UI designer to have an excellent understanding of graphic and user-interface design.  

You must be multi-disciplined as we will need physical and digital assets.  You have a keen eye for sleek, modern, functional design as well as experience in animation, illustration, icon design and video editing.

Director of Technology

As a director of technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations, managing a team of employees, tracking technology in order to achieve business & client goals, eliminating security risks, increasing user satisfaction, and maintaining operations and systems. As a director, your work will be a balance of looking inward towards your team and responsible technologies as well as working outwards to understand business needs across various departments. As such, your professional skills require breadth perhaps more than expertise in a single area.

Senior Software Engineer

The senior software engineer will be expected to work directly between the CTO and the development team to design and implement innovative solutions to complex problems using modern technologies. This role isn't restricted to either front-end or back-end; responsibilities are based on an individual's skills and experience with the opportunity to expand into new areas.

They will report to a Senior Software Engineer in their team but also have involvement in technical discussions and decisions with the CTO.

Head of Marketing

We are looking for a Head of Marketing who’ll lead all our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects.

Head of Marketing responsibilities include developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term department goals. If you’re a skilled Marketing strategist, able to inspire your team members, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will run our Marketing department in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.

Paid Media Exec

The Paid Media Executive is responsible for managing paid media activities for our clients and public marketplace platform, producing results against agreed KPIs. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and account management team - you will provide dedicated assistance by meeting client biddable media needs and our internal growth strategy on a daily basis. This work may at times be short notice or ad hoc and requires a level of flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the changing requirements of our client base and public platform, covering a number of ad platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads and social media advertising.

Content Creator

We are looking for a Content Creator to write and publish various types of pieces for our company’s web pages, like articles, videos, whitepapers. ebooks and social media posts.

Content Creator responsibilities include producing marketing copy to advertise our products, writing blog posts about industry-related topics and creating & promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing, video editing & Canva, and generating traffic and leads for new business. Please share samples of your work (portfolio or links to published articles) along with your application.

Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products.

Marketing Exec/Intern

The role of a marketing executive can encompass creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities. The role will typically also involve a great deal of digital and online marketing work, able to look at analytics and come up with appropriate courses of action, produce written and multimedia content and manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising. As such having a familiarity with and knowledge of digital and online marketing methods is beneficial.

Operations Manager

Operations managers are often the glue that holds an organisation together. They are responsible for people, operations, budgets, project delivery and strategy. You will be responsible for managing a team of people, which involves both the engagement and development of these people. Part of the core operations responsibilities include resourcing or staffing, recruitment and financial processes, such as invoicing. This is linked to the budgeting aspects of the role, in which the operations manager must manage margins, costs, budgeting and forecasting.

Product Owner

The agile product owner is the point person on the product development team, using their high-level perspective to define goals, build a product roadmap and create the vision for development projects. They will be responsible for creating the list of backlog items and prioritise them based on the overall strategy and business objectives. Additionally, the product owner will need to map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development. With the vision, strategy, and product priorities set, the product owner should spend a significant amount of time overseeing the actual development of the product. They are a key player throughout each event, including planning, refinement, review, and sprint. A successful Mercarto product owner will be an expert at understanding and anticipating our enterprise client’s needs to more effectively manage the development process. They will take a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration, accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product.
